It’s not often that a poetry title gets featured in a film by a major studio but Eva H.D. has somewhat of a starring role in Charlie Kaufman’s latest, I’m thinking of ending things. Adapted from the novel of the same name by Iain Reid, Kaufman’s film had its debut this past weekend on Netflix. Without giving too much away one of the main characters recites a poem at the beginning of the film and later finds the poem in a copy of Eva’s Rotten Perfect Mouth. Since the weekend release we have had interest in Eva’s work from around the world. So thanks to Charlie Kaufman for drawing attention to one of our finest poets.
