H appy birthday, William McFadden (David’s dad)! He turns 100 on Wednesday, January 22!
Here, David reads William’s introduction to Mother Died Last Summer (Mansfield Press, 2013) at a private launch party in Hamilton at the home of Gary Barwin and Beth Bromberg. In attendance were William McFadden, David McFadden and Merlin Homer, other members of the McFadden family, the Bromberg-Barwins, a few close friends, Mansfield publisher Denis De Klerck with Julie Booker, editor Stuart Ross with Laurie Siblock, Nelson Ball, Jim Smith, and the mayor of Hamilton and his wife.
