A t last Saturday’s Meet the Presses Book Fair Nelson Ball won the bpNichol Chapbook Award for Small Waterways. The $4000.00 prize is an overdue acknowledgement of Nelson’s work as well as the excellent work Cameron Anstee does with Apt. 9 Press. Because the chapbooks are done in limited editions Small Waterways is already out of print. Happily you can find most of the poems from the chapbook in Nelson’s recent Mansfield Press title, Chewing Water. Congratulations to Cameron and Nelson.
