Pier Giorgio Di Cicco was a great Canadian poet and a big part of the inspiration for the founding of Mansfield Press. We’ve been friends for 35 years and we made a lot of great books together. He has been a unique voice in the lives of so many people and he’ll be missed. For those of you who would like to remember him among family and friends there will be a service on December 27th in Toronto. Sorry to bring such awful news during the festive season. Here are the details for those who wish to take part:
Visitation: Friday, December 27th at 9:15am, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 354 St Clair Avenue West
Funeral Mass: Friday, December 27th at 10:30am, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 354 St Clair Avenue West, followed by a reception at the church
Internment: St Augustine Seminary Burial Ground, 2661 Kingston Road.
