Nathaniel G. Moore on CBC

Nathaniel G. Moore has been digging in the trenches of Canlit for most of his life. As a novelist, poet, essayist and publicist, he has written freely and bravely as an artist without concern for developing the kind of profile a large multinational publisher might value. He is a champion of the small press community and Honorarium, his recent book of essays, documents his ongoing engagement with small press heroes across the country. His latest Mansfield title, Constrictor, is a powerful examination of his own experience of sexual abuse, something boys and men typically have difficulty talking about or acknowledging publicly. CBC recently aired an interview with Nathaniel about both of these books—a timely reminder of important things worth paying attention to. It’s worth a listen: cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-83-shift-nb/clip/15889865-chapter-and-verse-nathaniel-moore
