Marianne Apostolides is a writer and critic. Her first book, Inner Hunger: A Young Woman’s Struggle through Anorexia and Bulimia, was published by W. W. Norton and translated into Spanish and Swedish. Her novel Swim (BookThug, 2009) explores the eroticism of language and story. She lives in Toronto with her two children.
